Influenza (Flu) Vaccines - High-Risk Patients

Flu vaccines for eligible high-risk patients will be available starting October 6, 2026. If you meet any of the criteria below, you may book and appointment through our Online Booking feature.

Eligible high-risk individuals include:

• Children 6 to 59 months of age
• Children and adults with chronic conditions, including:

• ​Cardiac or pulmonary disorders
• Diabetes mellitus and other metabolic diseases
• Cancer or immune-compromising conditions
• Renal disease
• Anemia or hemoglobinopathy
• Neurologic or neurodevelopmental conditions
• Class 3 obesity​

• Children 6 months to 18 years of age who are receiving long-term treatment with acetylsalicylic acid (ASA)
• Pregnant individuals
• Residents of nursing homes and other chronic-care facilities
• Adults 65 years of age and older
• Individuals in or from First Nations, Inuit, or Métis communities

Flu vaccines for the general public will be available on and after October 26. 2026. Additional information will be shared closer to that date. 

COVID-19 Vaccine Update:

Peel Public Health has received the SpikeVax (Moderna) COVID-19 vaccine. At this time, it is unclear whether Pfizer or other COVID-19 vaccine products will become available through Peel Public Health.

Our COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be opening soon, and we expect to offer the Moderna vaccine.
